Automated Peritoneal Dialysis (APD) system 

[19] Start of Home Peritoneal dialysis

Blood test are bad, I have to start APD home every night.
I'm 17 months.

[18] Frequent hospital visits



that was a time, 
when my Turtle (catheter) got a Blue Cape
to hold and protect.

after few very long and painful days
I've won again.
read a story from my shirt - I'm going home!

[16] Complications


I was losing blood,
felt weak and wasn't smiling those day's

[15] Painfull days



I've lost more blood, 
they've looked worry for a few days.

[14] 2nd surgery - Catheter problem



They had to look inside 
and 
do some really painful moves
to clear the path.

[13] Catheter problem

after few weeks, my Turtle, 
name that we gave to catheter
got stuck.
hospital, welcome bck!

No other problems occurred, 
blood test were ok, but..

but for my parents it was a lesson

[10] First days after surgery



after surgery I've staid at the hospital few days
those were very hot day's, 
no ac, no bed for me parents.

I was 16 months (June 2011)
they decide to give me something more

[8] Before peritoneal dialysis


they gave me my first love on that day: football
after that nothing was the same

[7] Weekly hospital

as I've told you, they check a lot of things 
but mostly they wait for:
 Creatinine and Urea 

[6] Blood pressure


I've got problems with blood pressure, 
they know it.
but still they want to check it every time.
I'm not cooperating ;)

[5] Blood tests

After 2 weeks at the hospital 
they let me go home!
since then I've got to 
return there for unfunny blood tests..
I dont like them!

[4] Diurese

from the first day 
I've could pee and breath enough, 
- they said.


[3] More then a week

I was hosted on intensive care. 
my parents had rare green colors those days.

[2] Fighter



all that my parents spoked, said some truly painful words.
but day's go by and I'm fighting.

Diagnosis: Q61.1 Polycystic kidney, infantile type
